This position is part of the CHG Corporate Talent Acquisition team.  This team supports all divisions and levels of leadership, working with teams to find and hire for their open positions.  As industry experts, we have fun collaborating with our leaders and peers while introducing talented individuals to CHG’s award-winning culture.  We take pride in working for one of the “top 100 companies to work for” and love sharing our story.  With a sense of urgency and focus on customer service and team work, the Talent Acquisition team is one of the company’s biggest assets.

How You'll Contribute

  • Work collaboratively to locate and qualify both active and passive candidates on any position at any level within the organization
  • Work with CHG leadership to profile positions, formulate interview questions, and determine interview process/expectations through “CHG Way of Hiring”
  • Attend job fairs and networking events regularly
  • Identify and maintain a network of industry professionals to enhance our talent outreach efforts for current and future requisitions
  • Review job descriptions with hiring managers and get HR approvals as needed
  • Post positions internally and externally as needed
  • Source active candidates from online databases
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, and basic qualifications (culture and skill)
  • Cold-call to identify passive candidates
  • Coordinate interviews, review new applicants for qualifications, and check references
  • Ability to mentor and train newer recruiters
  • Make offers as needed
  • Other projects as assigned

 

What You'll Bring

  • Advanced understanding of The CHG Way of Hiring process and ability to conduct the process with hiring leaders
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and implement change through fostering a collaborative and problem solving environment
  • Advanced experience with handling recruiting objections and ability to close a candidate on the job
  • Ability to establish immediate rapport with prospective candidates; creating a candidate-centric relationship
  • Advanced understanding of the Full Lifecycle Recruitment Process
  • Ability to work on any position at any level within the organization with very limited supervision
  • Advanced understanding and ability to apply various sourcing and recruiting techniques
  • Advanced experience with handling recruiting objections and ability to close a candidate on the job
  • Strong computer skills – internet sourcing, online CRM or ATS, and all basic MS Office applications
  • Strong understanding of corporate structure and all of the divisions
  • Ability to influence candidates to complete online application process and interview
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Poise and patience, coupled with the ability and professionalism to work directly with senior leaders in the company

 

Experience and Education

  • 5+ years professional recruiting experience
  • Experience with heavy phone activity
  • High School diploma or equivalent

 

Preferred

  • Human resource experience
  • Senior level technical recruiting
  • Some college coursework
