As a key member of the CHG Interactive Marketing team, the Email Marketing Technical Coordinator will play a strategic role in developing, optimizing, and maintenance of email automation programs for all CHG brands. This role will help drive audience segmentation along with automation logic and workflow. The coordinator will help test into what type of personalization is most effective for our various audiences at various stages of the customer journey. This role will work closely with CHG leadership to build and evolve our email marketing program to improve customer engagement and solve business challenges.

How You'll Contribute

  • Assist in marketing automation campaign conception and creation
  • Monitor, analyze, and recommend improvements of campaigns
  • Maintain campaign reports, creating program baselines and A/B test results
  • Maintain email marketing calendar
  • Accurately document what is sending to who, and when
  • Accurately document what is being tested to which list segments
  • Recommend, implement and iterate ongoing testing program in collaboration with email team
  • Ensure campaigns are in compliance with CAN-SPAM and privacy best practices
  • Assist in email creation process—gather assets from creative teams and populate templates
  • Participate in email QA process; through approval, edit, and proofing
  • Other duties as assigned by management

What You'll Bring

  • Experience with online marketing principles and best practices
  • Experience working with enterprise email marketing service providers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience with other online marketing tools (Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Understanding of email best practices (deliverability and engagement)
  • Basic HTML or above
  • Basic SQL or above
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure while still meeting deadlines
  • Positive attitude, initiative, energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and a team player
  • Ability to flex in and out of projects
  • Strong ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Self-starter with emphasis on multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organization
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Desire to learn and think Big!
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a marketing or marketing operations team
  • Bachelors with an emphasis on marketing/business administration/information technology (or relevant experience)
