The Help Desk Specialist position provides phone support for computer hardware and software, copiers, printers, faxes, and phone systems.

How You'll Contribute

  • Provide first level support for resolution of client computer problems and requests
  • Record all contact into ticketing system
  • Monitor incoming ticket queue and escalated/fix as needed
  • Provide desktop support for computer hardware and software remotely
  • Provide phone system support, including smart phone and tablet type devices

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent customer relation's skills and good phone manners
  • Prioritize and manage time and requests efficiently
  • PC knowledge of hardware and software
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and common Windows applications
  • Knowledge of networking
  • Able to deal with stressful situations in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of voice systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supporting PC hardware & software
  • 1+ years of experience working on an information systems Service Desk
  • Interact with clients, team members, and other employees in a courteous, respectful, and business-like manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Able to lift and carry 30 lbs ten feet
  • Able to assess and understand needs and problems and follow up on these in a timely manner
