We’re looking for people who:

  • Responsible for leading and managing operational projects as assigned
  • Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables to ensure project completion
  • Plan and oversee specific tasks and parts of a project, as assigned
  • Responsible for understanding the product needs/requirements and working with the business and technical teams to implement the appropriate solution
  • Establishes project success criteria, and drives the project to meet established measures
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, managing project schedules, charter and scope
  • Assists in manages scope, issues, constraints, risks, assumptions throughout project lifecycle
  • Track and report project progress and status
  • Assist in coordinating the development and execution of work flows, implementation plans, training plans, user acceptance testing and user documentation
  • Conduct project post mortems and report feedback to Project Management team in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Work closely with business users and management to determine divisional and/or organizational needs, systems and operations requirements, customer rollout requirements, legal/compliance implications, etc.
  • Interview business users & management to understand business process & requirements and consult with businesses to assist in their understanding and identification of opportunities to use technology to improve their business processes
  • Work with multiple business areas, design process and information flows within and across functional areas
  • Write detailed business requirements and technical specifications and obtain formal approval
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Your role.

  • Effectiveness in leading project resources and schedules at all levels
  • Ability to successfully lead and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and across divisions
  • Must be a motivated, high energetic person who is business oriented, can build relationships and trust, articulate concepts, and process to solve business problems
  • Ability to manage small and large/complex operational projects to completion on time and within budget
  • Effective problem solving skills exhibited by effective collaboration among project team members
  • Strong reasoning, negotiation, decision making, and consensus-building skills
  • Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Ability to manage external vendors through solution selection and implementation
  • Ability to lead business partners through the analyze phase identifying, capturing business requirements, and technical specifications
  • Ability to use process flows, use cases, and process maps
  • Ability to convert business requirements into development and project tasks to be managed within the operational teams
  • Ability to plan and manage the entire life cycle of the project including developing test plans, implementation schedules, and post implementation support
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, change-oriented environment
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • College degree in technical or business field
  • 1-2 years’ experience leading operational projects
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven track record with taking initiative to do what it takes to drive the project forward
  • Proven ability to understand the business environment (business model, competitive landscape, processes, revenue/cost drivers, etc.)
  • Experience presenting ideas and information in group setting and working effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Experience effectively managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meeting deadlines and working well under pressure

Preferred Skills:


  • PMI Certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow belt certification
  • MBA
