This leader will lead the people responsible for establishing an enterprise class voice/data network and collaboration & communications platform. The right candidate will use their leadership skills and experience to efficiently raise the bar of network, voice, video and collaboration systems used throughout our enterprise. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, Infrastructure & Operations. The manager of Network Services will ensure that there is strategic alignment between our technology and business needs, while maintaining scalable, day-to-day operational duties. The Manager of Network Services serves as a people leader that focuses on building relationships with internal customers and external vendors and partners.

We’re looking for people who

  • Drive transformational initiatives to modernize CHG’s voice and video communication platforms to meet the demands of a modern workforce
  • Provide strategic partnership vision to internal teams and external vendors
  • Continuously leverage opportunities for operational efficiencies through a thorough assessment of existing assets, capabilities and needs
  • Foster a culture of that seeks to learn about the latest available technology solutions and about customer needs throughout the UC team
  • Oversee the cost of services and support for CHG’s networking, voice/data and video communication platforms
  • Play a primary role in the purchasing equipment and overall vendor management for goods and services within our network
  • Develop KPI’s and appropriate metrics to provide strong visibility into service availability, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide team leadership and vision to align technical skills to agile methodologies to transform the CHG landscape
  • Oversee incident and service request management for network and communication platforms, ensuring appropriate response, service level agreements, and communication

Your role

  • Demonstrate ability to lead, coach and mentor technical people
  • Demonstrate ability to set technology direction and oversee delivery and support of networking and communications solutions
  • Ability to critically assess architectural proposals
  • Ability to critically assess vendor and partner proposals
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members and IT partners (internally/externally (e.g. Project Management, Business Analysts, Support Services, Managed Services, etc.)
  • Protect the CHG brand through relationship building and creating win/win scenarios
  • Ability to mentor, be mentored, and partner with peers
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal partners
  • Ability to see how the immediate, smaller project fits into a much larger and long-term project and strategic direction
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project time lines
  • Must be able to communicate technical architectures, designs, and solutions clearly to other leaders, direct reports and peers
  • Ability to execute, communicate, and manage in an Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong partnerships to deliver world class networks

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS degree in technical field or equivalent work experience designing, supporting, and implementing enterprise infrastructure
  • Four or more years in a technology leadership role
  • Demonstrate experience providing technical direction and architectural design for large-scale network and communications environments
  • Demonstrated experience architecting & supporting enterprise voice/data networks focused on scalability and availability
