    The Accounts Receivable Director is responsible for leading leaders, who in turn lead teams of people that develop relationships with our internal and external clients in order to facilitate prompt payment of invoices. The Accounts Receivable Director will successfully develop their leaders to drive high employee engagement so the team can provide a consistent, unmatched and memorable customer experience. The Accounts Receivable Director will work closely with peer leaders to facilitate achievement of monthly cash goals and other people related objectives.

    We’re looking for people who:

    • Cultivate a highly engaged and effective team, with primary focus on the growth and development of your direct reports
    • Hold regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, periodically with indirect reports and other key sales and business partner leaders
    • Regularly provide feedback to direct reports
    • Identify people needs for the team, interview candidates and assist in making hiring decisions in collaboration with other division leaders
    • Ensure that high-quality service levels are provided to internal and external clients
    • Create and maintain strong, effective relationships with key sales and business partner leaders
    • Direct and evaluate the performance of and determines compensation and other employment actions for the client receivables staff
    • Coordinate and monitor the setting of individual and team goals and evaluate team members progress and development needs
    • Maintain hands on knowledge of all processes, tasks and technical aspects of the client receivables life cycle
    • Review and approve payment plans for problem clients
    • Review and approve client files for legal
    • Consistently identify and implement process improvements using the company’s Lean methodology and other relevant tools
    • Regularly review aging reports and other relevant client data with team leaders, to identify at-risk accounts and help determine adequate reserves at month-end
    • Effectively communicate client issues to sales leaders to ensure they are aware of escalated disputes or concerns, help determine appropriate next steps and see that issues are resolved timely and effectively to maximize collections

    Your role.

    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience leading people, with a minimum of 1 year of leading people leaders
    • Demonstrated people leadership expertise with a history of developing highly engaged teams and generating superior results
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business, or equivalent work experience
    • Proven business acumen with a strong understanding of business to business contracts and associated financial transactions
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Effectively motivate, engage, grow and develop leaders and teams
    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal sales and business partner team leaders
    • Translate the company’s strategy and vision into actionable initiatives
    • Prioritize, lead and manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Ability to work under pressure in a high-growth, evolving company
    • Solid understanding of GAAP, particularly with reserves for uncollectible accounts
    • Experience with JD Edwards software
    • Understanding of healthcare staffing industry
    • Experience in a business partner role for a sales or service type company
