The Placing Sales Manager will assist the division in setting and achieving team sales goals. This is a people leadership position with responsibility for their own book of business and the production and performance of sales people on their team. 

We’re looking for people who

  • Train and development a productive sales team by conducting individual 1:1 meetings with team members
  • Review team metrics, activities and provider/client pipeline on a regular basis to ensure everyone is meeting expectations
  • Report team’s performance to division leadership on a regular basis
  • Assist in the development of sales skill sets of individual team members
  • Develop people leadership skills by attending company leadership training classes, continuing education programs or seminars
  • Collaborate with own team and other leaders within the division to reach shared goals
  • Monitor gross margins to ensure the team is meeting profit expectations
  • Identify and resolve team challenges
  • Team desk coverage as needed
  • Complete the internal LEAD program

Your role

  • 3-5 years of progressive, strong people leadership experience, preferably within a sales or service department
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the direct sales of products or professional services
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Professional level written and oral communications skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Efficiently manage large amounts of data in a large database system
  • College level education is preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
  • Experience in the recruitment or staffing industry is preferred
