    Responsible for all payroll functions of the division. Will require accountability to both corporate finance and corporate human resource departments. Relies on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish both team and divisional goals. Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position will lead the department in managing the daily operations of the sales support organization including, but not limited to; provider payroll, provider reimbursements, and customer service.

    We’re looking for people who:

    • Coach and mentor payroll team members and/or payroll leaders by conducting weekly one on one meetings, side by side coaching and other activities to aide in the growth and development of the team
    • Set goals and initiatives for and evaluate the performance of payroll team members
    • Assign tasks, monitor people and resource utilization while  making process recommendations towards a more efficient and effective weekly payroll process
    • Lead the daily workflow processes of the division’s payroll department and maintain hands-on knowledge of all processes, tasks, and technical aspects of provider payroll and reimbursements
    • Partner with sales leaders and business partner leaders to research, clarify, and resolve client and provider disputes
    • Develop and implement standardized processes that support excellence in the delivery of provider and client service and support
    • Act as the Payroll liaison in the division’s relationship with CHG corporate A/P, A/R, Accounting, Payroll and Finance teams
    • Coordinates and monitor the setting of individual and team goals and evaluate team member’s performance and training needs
    • Actively create and direct growth and development plans for the entire payroll team, including leaders
    • Accountable for reducing the number of payroll processing errors and subsequent client billing disputes through consistent and accurate payroll processes
    • Weekly, monthly or daily preparation, analysis, distribution and interpretation of sales support reports related to payroll
    • Coordinate and cooperate with CHG corporate payroll on initiatives relating to payroll tax, benefits reporting requirements, and system integrations or updates
    • Identify team opportunities and demonstrate the ability to positively impact results in team engagement, quality, and retention

    Your role.

    • Strong people leadership experience with the ability to effectively lead, motivate and influence payroll team members and/or leaders to achieve desired results
    • 5 years of experience leading support teams in a staffing or finance industry
    • 4 years of leadership experience within a payroll department/team
    • Good financial and marketing analytical abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Skilled in training employees on processes and customer service techniques
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information and concepts convincingly
    • Prioritize, manage and delegate multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
    • Well-developed organization and time management skills
    • Strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel, and Power Point
    • Organize and prioritize a large volume of information
    • Ability to keep all financial and proprietary information confidential
    • Undergraduate level business education training

    Preferred Skills:

    • Degree in accounting or business administration
    • Experience leading leaders
