    The vision of the Automation Engineer is to play a key role working across teams in designing, developing and streamlining the deployment of software deliverables. This also includes the administration as needed of the implemented systems such as logging, monitoring and infrastructure maintenance of the continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) environments. In addition, the position will provide technical leadership, research and implementation of new technologies.

    We’re looking for people who:

    • Provide technical leadership working closely with team members in Development, QA and Security to:
      • Design, develop and support automated software integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
      • Ensure quality and security standards and targets are met through automation
      • Develop automation pipelines that can deliver software to private or public (AWS) clouds
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members, with a pro team attitude
    • Develop enterprise infrastructure standards for internal, cloud, and integrated deployments
    • Maintain, patch, and implement CI/CD Infrastructure

    Your role.

    • Expert knowledge of CI/CD Infrastructure, Monitoring and Logging.  (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, MySQL, ELK etc.)
    • Experience setting up metrics, log collection and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, etc.)
    • Experience leveraging, working with and architecting around continuous delivery tools such as: Jenkins, CircleCI, and TravisCI
    • Expert knowledge of CI/CD Infrastructure within Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.)
    • Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems
    • Programming/scripting experience

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • BS degree in technical field or equivalent work experience designing, supporting, and implementing enterprise infrastructure
    • 2-5 years of increasing experience and knowledge in the installation, configuration, design, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of an enterprise datacenter
    • 2+ years of experience deploying and maintaining multi-container applications
