    This position is responsible for gathering and verifying healthcare practitioner information and tracking all compliances to ensure everything is up to date.

    We’re looking for people who:

    • Maintains and updates provider files and checklists in compliance with company policy
    • Input provider documents into the databases
    • Contacts provider to gather and update documentation for assignment
    • Scrutinizes provider applications and resumes for consistency and accuracy
    • Researches verification information via the internet and other electronic hardcopy databases
    • Compiles documents, researches and verifies provider backgrounds by calling, mailing or faxing hospitals, licensing boards, medical schools, etc.
    • Interviewing provider peer references over the phone about providers clinical performance skills
    • Facilitate provider health screens
    • Providing candidate information directly to client or through VMS application
    • Completes additional projects as assigned by management
    • Contributes to a positive culture and ongoing process improvement


    Your role.

    • Accurately type 35 wpm.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Detail and task oriented
    • Problem solving and reasoning skills
    • Experience with MS Word, Excel and/or database applications
    • Other clerical and office skills
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous customer service and/or phone experience
    • Proficient with databases, data entry, Windows, Word, and Excel
    • Two years’ work experience in a support position involving customer interaction and task completion
    • Able to learn and use credentialing database and Excel
    • Able to follow instructions and use time productively
    • Able to work individually as well as in a team environment

    Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with the medical field and/or medical terminology
    • Post-high school education
