    The Safety & Security Coordinator is responsible for the safe guard of CHG Healthcare assets to include its people, building, equipment, and intellectual property. Provides outstanding communication, awareness training and problem solving.


    We’re looking for people who:

    • Maintain the safety & security of employees, visitors, and guests of CHG
    • Support and maintain long and short term companywide strategic safety and security initiatives
    • Monitor and observe the building access points, while assisting arriving guests with visitor credentials 
    • Coordinate, track, enable and disable access for all access badges and keys
    • Conduct safety and security education and awareness training for all employees
    • Maintain and enforce parking policies and procedures
    • Perform periodic campus patrol
    • Prepare incident reports, visitor logging, access control reports and other reports as needed
    • Assist in answering incoming phone calls
    • Establish and maintain liaison with local law enforcement and emergency agencies
    • Execute and participate in improving safety and security best practices

    Your role.

    • Ability to detect, deter, and respond to threats
    • Strong written/verbal communication, and investigative skills
    • Understanding of safety and security principles and practices
    • Expertise responding to emergency and crisis situations
    • Experience working with local, Fire, Emergency, and Police Departments
    • Working knowledge of emergency management programs, planning and implementation
    • Thorough working knowledge of security operations, conflict management and safety practices in a business environment
    • First Aid experience
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in law enforcement, emergency response or emergency management
    • First Aid, CPR and AED or EMT certification a plus
