    This at-will position is responsible for supporting the Brand Manager in developing the brand’s image and positioning in relation to competitors. The assistant brand manager role is key in planning, developing and implementing marketing initiatives and activities for the brand. Adheres to company mission and values, as well as marketing department mission and values.

    We’re looking for people who:

    • Assists in developing the marketing plan and marketing budget for the brand
    • Ability to understand target audiences and develop strategies and messages for these audiences
    • Writes on-strategy and on-brand work briefs and creative briefs and presents project details including timeline and final deliverables
    • Ability to forge strong consultative and trusting relationships within the sales division and within the Marketing department
    • Collaborates and helps develop alternative strategic solutions to meet business objectives
    • Understand branding and the importance of consistency and evolution
    • Assists in the management of online and offline marketing execution
    • Builds successful marketing plans that deliver on business goals
    • Manages projects and channels with excellence using internal and external resources to achieve optimal results
    • Studies and understands the brand he or she will be supporting
    • Assists in research and content development
    • Acquires knowledge about the business, the industry, and marketing tactics to be proactive in providing solutions and effective marketing plans

    • Extensive PC knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office programs
    • Positive and professional team player
    • Strong ability to think strategically as well as creatively
    • Self-starter with emphasis on multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organization
    • Manage time effectively and devise and achieve work goals independently
    • Interact and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of data and make decisions

    Education and Years of Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration; emphasis on marketing preferred
    • Five to seven years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or communications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Basic understanding of direct response marketing
    • Project management experience
