    Talent Management is looking for an intern who can assist with projects that are designed to enhance a student’s learning and growth, while providing an opportunity to meet educational curriculum requirements. You’ll have the ability to think critically, create measurable goals and work independently. Talent Management consists of Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits, Compensation, Technology and Learning & Development. The intern will not work with all of the teams. The specific team the intern will work with will be identified closer to the time of offer.

    We’re looking for people who:

    Talent Acquisition

    • Assist with sourcing active and passive candidates using multiple sources
    • Data collection and analysis to track reasons for leader declines
    • Call candidates with an incomplete application to gauge interest in employment with CHG
    • Assist with onsite divisional job fairs by confirming candidate attendance, gathering interview feedback to enter into database and attending job fair debrief to document next steps
    • Research job and career websites that we could post positions to
    • Research and identify university and college student groups to network with in our office
    • Assist with improving the job posting process
    • Participate in presenting and introducing the CHG Employee Referral program to new hire training classes


    Employee Relations

    • Assist with report writing for turnover, affirmative action and other metrics
    • Archiving and filing of personnel files
    • Assist with compliance processes including I9 process, documentation, handbook and new hire orientation



    • Assist with projects designed to enhance current HR technology or develop/implement new technology


    Benefits & Wellness

    • Various administrative tasks including data entry and outreach calls to gather missing data
    • Basic data analysis



    • Assist with writing job descriptions

    Learning & Development

    • Organization of class evaluations by doing data entry into Excel or MyDevelopment
    • Create facilitator guides, update and standardize formatting for existing guides
    • Update participant guides and ensure changes from 2014 leadership training are updated in the guides
    • Assisting with implementation, loading courses, registrations and other tasks using MyDevelopment (Success Factors platform)

    Your role.

    • Have strong attention to detail
    • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Have strong proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet development and reporting
    • Exhibit excellent and timely follow-up on commitments and projects
    • Have flexibility and ability to switch tasks quickly when necessary
    • Are proficient in Microsoft Office


    Education Requirements:

    • Should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Health, Society and Policy, Health Promotion, Hospitality, Marketing or related fields
