    The Director of Software Engineering will be responsible to help create and lead a world-class software engineering team, in partnership with other senior leaders. The Director will have a proven record of strong leadership with high team engagement, a history of leading initiatives through collaboration, and a passion for technology.  Areas of focus may include agile methodologies, DevOps, cloud hosting, enterprise data management, service-based architecture and Salesforce.com.

    We’re looking for people who:

    • Help develop and execute divisional and cultural vision and goals while developing a strong leadership team that delivers strong leadership focused on developing and improving our culture
    • Onboard, train, mentor, provide feedback to leadership team
    • Maintain effective working partnerships with technology partners to consistently deliver strong results
    • Plan, develop, organize and evaluate the team and organizational function(s) while ensuring adequate resources to business partners
    • Collaborate effectively with other leaders to support and execute the short and long term strategic plans for the IT division
    • Inspires excellence in performance and gain team alignment to divisional and team strategies, goals and objectives
    • Be seen as a valuable advisor to leaders at all levels while leading additional projects and programs outside their span of responsibility

    Your role.

    • Demonstrated people leadership experience (preferably within the healthcare industry) with the ability to provide direct, timely feedback demonstrated by clear results
    • Have experience leading people leaders of software engineering
    • Bachelor’s degree (MA) or 5 to 10 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in several of the administrative areas at the highest level of a corporation
    • Proven ability to clearly collaborate and execute a vision and direction through leaders and employees
    • Have experience in creating an efficient and effective software delivery team through Agile and DevOps
    • Possess the ability to drive a culture of quality, accountability and strong relationships
    • Have proven track record of coaching, mentoring and growing software engineering talent
    • Are self-driven, results oriented and possess a sense of urgency
    • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills with senior leaders throughout the organization
    • Experience with effectively leading an IT organization through change
